International Bedding’s Product Warranty

Your mattress and matching foundation have been engineered to provide one of the finest sleep systems available. If, however, you discover a defect in your mattress or foundation, you should contact the retail store where you purchased your sleep set. If a defect occurs during the warranty period, International Bedding shall, at its discretion, repair or replace your mattress or foundation after a complete inspection and determination that the damage is a result of a manufacturing defect during normal use. In the event of replacement, if identical materials are not available, International Bedding may substitute material of comparable value or provide a refund. In order for this limited warranty to be valid, you must:

  • Be the original consumer purchaser.
  • Have purchased the sleep set from one of our authorized dealers.
  • Provide copy of the original store receipt, or other proof of purchase date, place of purchase and purchase price.
  • Provide the law label affixed to the defective product.

You will be responsible for transportation costs of the product to and from the store or factory, as applicable.

ANY AND ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES ON YOUR PRODUCT, INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, SHALL NOT EXCEED IN DURATION THE TERM OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY, WHICH BEGINS WITH THE DATE OF PURCHASE BY THE CONSUMER. THE SERVICE TERMS STATED IN THIS WARRANTY SHALL BE THE CONSUMER’S SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE REMEDY IN THE EVENT OF PRODUCT FAILURE DURING THE WARRANTY PERIOD. INTERNATIONAL BEDDING SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THIS PRODUCT OR INABILITY TO USE THIS PRODUCT, OR FOR THE BREACH OF THIS OR ANY OTHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTY. INTERNATIONAL BEDDING DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THIS PRODUCT IS SUITABLE FOR ANY PERSON’S MEDICAL CONDITION. INTERNATIONAL BEDDING MAKES NO WARRANTY BEYOND WHAT IS CONTAINED IN WRITING.

Some states do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so this limitation may not apply to you. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state. International Bedding does not authorize any person to create for it any other obligation or liability in connection with this warranty.

Your warranty protects you from your date of purchase for the number of years shown in the LIMITED WARRANTY TIMETABLE (see below). In the event we repair or replace your sleep set, this warranty shall continue from your original purchase date. To find the limited warranty period that applies to your sleep system, see the two letter code shown on the tag law affixed to your International Bedding mattress.

International Bedding reserves the right to refuse service and invalidate this warranty when, upon inspection, the sleep set is found to be in an unsanitary condition or when the failure is due to causes other than defective workmanship or materials. Your warranty will not cover the following:

  • Structural damage from using an improper bed frame. This warranty applies to Queen or King size mattresses or foundations only if they are supported by an appropriate frame with a rigid center support having at least 5 legs or 5 hardwood (1” X 4”) cross slats. See below for examples of proper bed frames for Queen and King mattress sets.
  • Structural damage to mattress not used in conjunction with a matching foundation, or equivalent, and an appropriate frame.
  • Mattress or foundation with burned, stained or soiled fabric.
  • Mattress or foundation damage due to abuse.
  • Mattress or foundation damage caused by moving or bending the sleep set.
  • Comfort preference.
  • Removal of law tag.
  • Body impressions less than 1.5” ( A body impression less than 1.5” in any sleeping area is not considered a defect. Body impressions are caused by the natural compression and settling of quality upholstery materials. They are simply an indication that the upholstery layers are conforming to your body’s individual contours).
  • Floor models and bedding sold “AS-IS”.
  • Replacement of another piece in the sleep set, unless the other piece is also defective.
  • Handles and Corner Guards.
